TACK

My books are usually full, though now open on a limited basis; please e-mail me to find out more.

I put a large emphasis on authenticity and detail. Wherever possible, my tack is true to life in miniature scale. When it is not possible or simply too impractical to do so, then I substitute as best as I can while still maintaining authenticity and usability.
My braided bridles and braided applique tack can be made in any color, and are a unique and beautiful addition to any tack box. Please inquire for more information.
To see close-ups of the tack worn by the Khemosabi resin, choose the saddle or bridle button below.

A custom western pleasure set with custom silver for Jennifer Zuraski
All of my saddles are made with the highest quality leather available. Most is lightweight tooling leather to allow for the intricate custom tooling while still maintaining proper scale and the ability to lie naturally. I also use heavier leather when needed, as well as skiver that is also sometimes delicately tooled. The seats are fitted individually, and quilted if desired. The saddles all have authentic latigos on the near side and buckle billets on the off side, so they cinch up like a real saddle.
All western sets can include the saddle, rear cinch-ring tabs with silver buckles for Western Pleasure or rear latigos and cinch to allow for working classes (not shown), breast collar, saddle pad and bridle. Each item can also be purchased separately.
At this time, the links below are inactive while I update my web pages. I am not taking custom orders for tack right now, but will sometimes make tack to sell. I am making a lovely historical ladie's astride set for the NAN 2006 auction, and will occasionally make tck to donate to live shows.
