Fall Fiesta 2004 Directions

Fall Fiesta 2003 is being held at the Gold Country Fairgrounds in Auburn, CA., October 23rd and 24th, 2004

From Highway 80 Westbound: Take the Hwy 49 exit. Go back over the freeway (east). When the road "T"s, stay in the right lane and turn right on Lincoln Ave. Continue on till you come to an intersection with a light and the Courthouse in front of you. Turn LEFT here onto Auburn-Folsom road. Continue about a quarter mile. At the light with the 7-Eleven on the left, turn LEFT onto Fairgate dr. This takes you into the fairgrounds parking lot. The show is being held in the SIERRA BUILDING- which is through the gate just past the gate-house towards the left of the parking lot (you may drive through and down) down the hill and on the right. There is LIMITED parking down at the bottom of the hill. You may need to drive down to unload, then move your car to the upper parking lot. We will make every effort to help those who need it- shuttling you to your car, helping you unload etc. If you plan to stay all day including taking our lunch on site, please plan of leaving your car in the upper parking lot. The Fairgrounds has other events and a museum next to our venue, and respectfully request that we leave those parking spaces available for their guests. Check in will be in the portico of the Sierra Building.

From Hiway 80 Eastbound: Take the Auburn/Maple Street exit. You will be immediately on a surface street so be cautious! Proceed up the hill (don't turn off anywhere). You will go by the old Courthouse and come to an intersection. The road curves around to the right. This will be Auburn-Folsom Rd. Go ahead straight about a quarter mile. FOOD

We will be offering on-site lunches each day. Saturday we will have Deli sandwiches and drinks available (choose at the time of service) and Sunday we will also have Deli sandwiches and drinks (choose at the time of service). If this is an option you would like to take, please sign up early so I can plan accordingly.

The building does not have vending machines, but I will try to have snacks and drinks available. Coffee will be available in the morning for those of us that need the jump start! However, you may want to plan to bring a cooler with your own drinks and snacks to have throughout the day.

There is an In-N-Out burger just in front of the Holiday Inn. The next exit up the Hiway, the Elm St exit, has a Taco Bell, a deli, and several other options available.
